Berlin was the capitol city of Germany. During World War II, it was the base of operations of the Nazis.
On Earth-Two during World War II in Berlin, Adolf Hitler was listening to an American radio broadcast detailing how an entire fleet of Axis submarines were destroyed by American dive bombers. Angered, he switches to another radio station, only to end up hearing Praise the Lord and Pass the Ammunition blasting through the speakers.[2]
