Avengers

Avengers[1]

The Avengers was a superhero team made up of some of the Earth's greatest heroes.

Among them were Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and Vision.

History[]

Earth-1A[]

It's unknown if the Avengers existed on this Earth or not, but it's very possible, since Hulk did indeed exist in this reality.[2] Still, he wasn't necessarily a member of the Avengers.[3] However, he was a member of the Defenders.[4]

Notes[]

The Avengers first appeared in Avengers # 1 (September 1963).[6]

  2. Hulk's existence in the Superfriends Universe was confirmed in The Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show episode The Maniacal Computerhead and in the Superfriends comic book Super Friends # 28.
  3. Just because Hulk existed on Earth-1A, doesn't mean he was a member of the Avengers, nor does that prove of their existence.
  4. This is conjecture based upon this image, which was labeled as a Here Come TV's Super-Friends! product. Still, this product was hardly official, and it wasn't necessarily licensed. Not to mention the fact that it's just conjecture that it's suppose to be depicting Earth-1A at all.
Since the image is not of a real DC or Marvel comic book, it's impossible to understand the context of the image. It could be depicting an interdimensional crossover, and the Defenders shown here might not be from Earth-1A at all.
  5. As seen in the Meanwhile, At The Hall Of Justice episode Superman's Dark Secret (2011).
