The Bat-Gyro was Batman's personal single-seated aircraft.
Robin had a Bat-Gyro of his own.
History[]
When Batman and Robin were exposed to the Penguin's crime slime, they parked the Batmobile next to a skyscraper that had the famous Midas Meteorite on the rooftop. With a flick of a switch, the chairs in the Batmobile transformed into Bat-Gyros, which blasted off with a short burst of rockets, and continued flight with the Bat-Gyros' rotor blades. They then hauled off the Midas Meteorite with a couple of bat ropes.[2]
Notes[]
- The Bat-Gyro was created by Bob Kane and Gardner Fox and first appeared in Detective Comics # 31 (September 1939).[3]
