The title or other information in this article is taken from the Super Powers franchise that spun off from the Super Friends franchise, beginning with the Super Powers Collection, and continuing in a variety of books, comics, toys and games, particularly the DC Heroes RPG.
Some of the material here may be conjectural or not even canon at all, although the last two seasons of the Super Friends series that were labeled Super Powers (Season 9 and 10), are both considered canon. Likewise the Super Powers comics are also canon, with the possible exception of volume three.
(This template will categorize articles that include it into the "Super Powers" category.)

Jack Ryder is a Gothamite TV news journalist who had unstable nanocells injected into his bloodstream which caused him to transform into the insane superhero known as the Creeper.

Powers and Abilities

Super powers

  • Creeper Form: The Creeper's powers are physical in nature, as a result of Yatz's invention. Jack Ryder can transform into the Creeper virtually instantaneously, and vice versa.
  • Superhuman Agility: This enables him to perform amazing feats of acrobatics and leaping, as he can jump high enough to scale any building. He also seems able to climb walls with little or no difficulty.
  • Superhuman Healing Factor: Which enables him to heal from virtually any wound. Indeed, gunshots and stab wounds have healed in a matter of minutes. It even allowed him to return from death when his body regenerated after being torn apart by Eclipsed hyenas.
  • Hypnotic Intimidation: Apparent intimidation/hypnosis ability as one of the thugs was apparently mesmerized after an encounter with the Creeper.

Abilities

  • Expert Combatant: These combined abilities make Creeper a formidable fighter, incorporating brawling techniques with his physical prowess. A signature move is jumping onto the backs of his opponents and throwing them off balance.
  • Journalism

Notes

The Creeper made his first appearance in Showcase # 73 (April 1968).[1]
