Hunting

Hunting was an activity that usually involved tracking down an animal with the objective of killing or capturing it. Being skilled in tracking was very important when hunting. For some, hunting was just a game, done for sport. But for others, especially in the old days, hunting was a way of life, as the animals that they hunt were used for food.

Someone who tracked down criminals could also be considered a hunter. And a criminal who stalked and murdered someone would also be engaged in a "hunt." There were many superheroes and supervillains alike who were skillful hunters.
