Gyro-jousting was a combat sport that was popular on the Moon of Games. Kalibak was an expert at the sport, and it was often said that whenever Kalibak was playing the game, the matches didn't last too long.

Two players stood on a gyro-ball, and the object was to knock the other player off the ball and into the mud below, by striking the other player with a gyro-staff.
