Hector is one of two of Doctor Pelagian's pet albatrosses. He was named after the classical mythical character known as Hector of Troy. He and Helen were used to voice Pelagian's message to three tycoons: Agatha Prentiss Caraway, J. Mortimer Hutchinson and Luther Fenwick as part of an agenda to stop pollution.

• Flight: As a seabird, as it is with most birds, Hector can fly. This is not a super power however, as this is a natural ability for his species, which is albatross.
