A Kewpie Doll was a type of doll that was a common prize that was given away at carnivals.

At the Blinken and Bristol Circus, Marvin White played a carnival game in an attempt to win a Kewpie Doll. The game involved throwing a ball at some bottles to knock them over. The only catch was he only had three tries which cost a quarter.[2]
