Morgana's medallion was given to Hercules years ago, when they were both in love. Eventually their relationship came to an end when Hercules learned that she was an evil sorceress. But he kept the medallion for years, so as to remember the love they once shared. Until one day Hercules finally decides to destroy it, so that he could move on.
