New Genesis

Apokolips, the "evil twin" of New Genesis.

New Genesis was a planet located in the dimension known as the Fourth World. It was inhabited by a humanoid alien race called the New Gods.

It was once part of a larger planet called Urgrund, until a terrible disaster caused the planet to be split in two, one half was New Genesis, the other half was Apokolips, a hellish world completely the opposite of New Genesis. New Genesis was ruled by Highfather.

• New Genesis made its' first appearance in New Gods # 1 (March 1971).

Appearances

New Genesis doesn't appear in the Super Friends series, but it is at least referenced in the Super Powers comics.
