Old Man Gately is a native of the city of Mountain Park who owned a cabin that Mr. Pratt rented from him. When he went to check on his cabin, he found a burn mark, which many have been lead to believe was caused by UFOs that have been spotted flying over Mountain Park. Jenkins later checked out the scene and noticed that Pratt wasn't home, and he was missing, and left the place in a mess as if there was some sort of struggle.
