The Demons Three Artifacts
Three Mystic Artifacts, Justice League of America 10 (March 1962)

In the parallel-universe of Earth-One, a billion years ago, Earth was ruled by evil creatures known today as demons, among them the Demons Three -- Abnegazar, Ghast, and Rath. To oppose them, benevolent blue-skinned immortals called the Timeless Ones appeared and imprisoned the Demons Three and the three magic artifacts the demons created.[1]

These three artifacts were uncovered in the early 1960's by the Justice League of America in a confrontation with Felix Faust (who wanted the demons power). They were placed in the trophy room of the JLA’s original headquarters, the Secret Sanctuary. When the Justice League relocated their headquaters to a satellite in space, the artifacts were also moved.[2]

Several years later, the three ancient artifacts were lost in a catastrophic explosion that destroyed the JLA Satellite in the early 21st century. The Jar fell to earth, but the other relics were flung across the galaxy.[3]

Each of the three magical items corresponds to the impish brothers known as the Demons Three:
