SummaryEdit
Felix Faust is planning to escape from jail when a planetary alignment will let him use his magic to steal Superman's powers. His cellmate, the Penguin, interrupts the ceremony and gains the powers instead, easily breaking out of prison (which Faust does as well in the confusion). Penguin goes on a crime spree, easily resisting the SuperFriends' attempts to stop him. Faust manages to reclaim Superman's powers for himself, and soon the planetary alignment will end and his spell can't be undone. Superman, Wonder Woman and Firestorm attempt to storm Faust's lair. His combination of magic and Kryptonian powers are seemingly unstoppable until Firestorm turns his headdress into Kryptonite, allowing Wonder Woman to use her magic lasso to force Faust to return his stolen powers just as the planetary alignment ends.
