Xelandra is an alien known as a Kyryni who was designated as Prisoner # Z475. She attempted to take over the earth, but she was capture by alien Captain J967, who was to transport her back to her native planet Kyryn. But the ship was bombarded by meteors and it crash landed back on earth, where she faced Superman.
